Synopsis
In present-day London, Enid Pinxit, a near-mythic recluse whose anonymous works sell for millions, lives in a crumbling riverside studio. When a young female curator acquires one of her forgotten pieces, the painting's subjects begin appearing in real life, each manifestation exposing buried crimes and desires Enid painted decades earlier. As the boundary between pigment and flesh collapses, Enid must confront the lover she immortalized and then condemned to canvas. Their reunion ignites a dangerous game where every brushstroke risks rewriting history, culminating in a final confrontation on the unfinished masterpiece that could either free or destroy them both.
The story
Enid's anonymous auction success brings ambitious curator Lena Voss to her door; Lena acquires a long-hidden painting that immediately begins leaking impossible events into the present.
Manifestations multiply—murder victims, lost lovers—driving Enid and Lena into a charged alliance while a ruthless collector hunts the final work to weaponize its power.
