Synopsis
In fog-choked Victorian London, Enid Pinxit paints the souls of the powerful, capturing their darkest secrets on canvas. When a duke's murder is foretold in one of her works, Enid is thrust from shadowy studio into high-society peril, pursued by those who would burn every painting to protect their lies. As her brushstrokes begin to alter reality itself, Enid must decide whether to expose the monsters or become one to survive. Allies emerge in a sharp-witted journalist and a skeptical detective, but betrayal lurks in every frame. Enid's final masterpiece threatens to unmask the entire aristocracy, setting off a race against time where canvas and blood blur.
The story
Enid, a brilliant but reclusive painter, lives in a cluttered attic studio painting society portraits that eerily predict fates. A duke commissions her; hours later his murder matches the canvas exactly, drawing police and killers to her door.
Hunted through ballrooms and galleries, Enid allies with journalist Clara and detective Hale while her paintings start changing events. Betrayals mount as the elite close in to destroy her work and silence her gift.
In a candlelit climax, Enid completes her magnum opus exposing the cabal. She sacrifices her anonymity and freedom, vanishing into legend as her final painting hangs in plain sight, rewriting history.

Cold open
INT. ENID'S ATTIC STUDIO - NIGHT Rain hammers leaded windows. ENID PINXIT, 28, paint-streaked and barefoot, stares at a half-finished portrait of a stern duke. Her brush moves in sharp, angry strokes. The eyes on canvas seem to watch her. A single candle gutters. Enid steps back. The painted duke now wears a crimson cravat that wasn't there moments ago. She tilts her head. A drop of red paint falls from the canvas onto the floorboards—real blood. She freezes. Footsteps echo on the stairs below. The door creaks. ENID (whispers to the painting) You told. The portrait's mouth, newly painted, curves into a smile.
