Synopsis

In a rain-soaked Paris atelier, Enid Pinxit paints what she believes are harmless fantasies until her brushstrokes begin altering the waking world. When a brooding stranger emerges from her newest canvas claiming to be her own suppressed darkness, Enid must race through shifting realities to reclaim control before her life is painted out of existence. Her mentor, a famous gallerist, and a skeptical journalist become unlikely allies as the paintings multiply and the city warps around them. Each new work forces Enid deeper into buried memories, revealing that every masterpiece has been a bargain with fate she never meant to strike.

INT. ENID'S ATTIC STUDIO - NIGHT
Rain hammers the skylight. ENID PINXIT, 32, paint-streaked and barefoot, stands before a towering canvas. Only the top half is visible: her own face, eyes closed, lips parted as if whispering.
She dips her brush in crimson and adds a single stroke across the throat. The figure on the canvas opens its eyes. Enid freezes. From the wet paint, a thin rivulet of real blood trickles down the canvas edge and pools on the floorboards.
ENID
(whisper)
Not again.

Why now

In an era of AI-generated images and fractured identities, audiences crave a tactile story about the dangerous power of human creation and the blurred line between artist and artwork, tapping into collective anxiety over who controls the narratives we paint of ourselves.
