Synopsis
Enid Pinxit, a mysterious painter whose grotesque yet hypnotic works explode online, discovers her canvases are not prophetic but causative—each stroke dooms its subject. As her fame skyrockets and bodies pile up, Enid must descend into the occult origins of her talent while evading obsessed collectors and a shadowy patron who wants her final masterpiece: a self-portrait that will end her life. Haunted by childhood visions and the ghost of her mentor, Enid stages a daring exhibition to trap the entity feeding on her gift. Betrayals mount as friends become victims and lovers turn lethal, forcing her to choose between destroying her art or becoming its ultimate subject. The film builds to a blood-soaked finale where canvas and flesh merge in one irreversible act of creation.
The story

Cold open
INT. ENID'S STUDIO - NIGHT Rain hammers the skylight of a cramped, paint-splattered attic. ENID PINXIT (28), gaunt and ink-stained, stands before a massive canvas. Her brush moves in frantic, precise strokes. On the canvas: a man in a tailored suit, face contorted in terror, throat slit. ENID (whispering to herself) Almost... done. She adds a final crimson drip. The paint seems to pulse. Across town, a phone rings. We cut to MARCUS VANE answering, then a shadow rises behind him. Back in the studio, Enid steps back. The painted figure's eyes now stare directly at her. A single drop of real blood falls from the canvas edge. ENID Not again.
