Synopsis
In present-day London, unsigned paintings signed only 'Pinxit' materialize on gallery walls and street corners, each depicting an onlooker's most private shame or loss with impossible accuracy. Archivist Lena Voss, still reeling from her sister's disappearance, recognizes her own face in the latest work and races to identify the artist before the final canvas—showing her death—is completed. As the paintings multiply and begin altering the memories of those who see them, Lena discovers Enid Pinxit has been painting reality into existence for decades, forcing Lena to decide whether to destroy the last canvas or let it rewrite her past.
The story

Cold open
INT. NATIONAL GALLERY - NIGHT Rain hammers the skylights. Security guard ALFRED (60s) makes his final round. He stops dead before a new canvas that wasn't there at closing: a hyper-real portrait of a woman screaming in a kitchen, blood on her hands. ALFRED (whispering) That's... my wife. Twenty years ago. He reaches out. The paint is still wet. His radio crackles with static. When he looks back, the woman in the painting is staring directly at him. The canvas now shows Alfred himself, lying dead on the gallery floor. He drops the radio. Footsteps echo from the empty hall behind him.
