When her newest piece begins to unmake the city itself, archivist Lena Voss tracks the clues hidden in brushstrokes and metadata, discovering Enid is painting away the memories that anchor her own life. Lena and Enid collide in a decaying studio where every canvas is both portal and prison. As the final brushstroke nears, reality frays—lovers forget each other, landmarks dissolve—and Enid confesses she is painting to disappear entirely, freeing the world from her accidental power.
