Synopsis
Enid Pinxit lives alone in a crumbling London studio, her hyper-real portraits selling for fortunes while she hides from the world. When a collector recognizes his own impending death in a painting he never posed for, Enid's work begins bleeding into the present: lovers reunite, enemies vanish, and long-buried crimes resurface in fresh brushstrokes. As fame explodes and reality frays, Enid races to finish her final canvas before it finishes her. Each new layer reveals she has been painting not the future but the past she erased, and the only way to stop the visions is to surrender the masterpiece that has kept her alive.
The story
Enid sells a prophetic portrait that comes true; a journalist and a lost love arrive at her door, drawn by rumors her art alters fate. She paints to keep them at bay while strange changes ripple through the city.
Her paintings accelerate, forcing confrontations with suppressed memories of a murdered sister and the patron who silenced her. Reality warps: scenes she paints appear overnight, relationships fracture, and Enid realizes she is the villain in her own masterpiece.
Enid completes the final canvas in a fever, sacrificing her gift to restore the timeline; in the aftermath she walks away from art, leaving one unsigned painting that quietly begins to glow.

Cold open
INT. ENID'S STUDIO - NIGHT Moonlight slices through cracked skylights onto a massive canvas. ENID PINXIT, 34, paint-streaked and barefoot, stands frozen before it. The portrait shows a man she has never met, blood blooming on his white shirt. A phone rings. She ignores it. The canvas phone in the painting begins to ring too. ENID (whisper) Stop it. The painted man's eyes flick toward her. Outside, a real siren wails past. Enid drops her brush; it hits the floor wetly. On the canvas, the blood spreads.
