I stripped every softening layer out of a fairy tale
A young woman survives a fairy-tale kingdom stripped of every mercy, where wolves devour grandmothers, princes betray, and spells demand blood instead of kisses.

Synopsis
In a kingdom where every comforting lie has been burned away, Ella walks through the charred remains of her own story. Her glass slipper cuts her feet, her fairy godmother demands sacrifice, and the prince is a predator in velvet. With nothing left to soften the world, she must become the monster the tales always feared. Alliances fracture at the first hint of danger. The woods grow teeth, the castle walls bleed, and familiar faces reveal their true hungers. Ella learns that surviving means rejecting the last fragments of hope that once defined her. By the final night, the story itself hunts her. Only by rewriting its rules in violence and shadow can she end the cycle—or become its new eternal teller.
The story
Ella awakens in the ashes of her glass coach, abandoned by magic and family, forced to flee into the merciless woods as hunters close in.
She gathers broken allies—a witch without spells, a huntsman without mercy—while the prince's court reveals its cannibalistic rituals and the true cost of every "happily ever after."
Ella confronts the story's living core in a final, bloody reckoning that shatters the narrative, leaving her to choose whether to kill the tale or wear its crown of thorns.

INT. CHARRED BALLROOM - NIGHT Shattered chandeliers drip wax like blood. ELLa (20s, barefoot, dress torn) crawls across marble. Her glass slipper cracks under her palm, slicing deep. A distant clock strikes thirteen. PRINCE (O.S.) She ran. How adorable. Ella hides behind a toppled throne. The Prince's boots echo. He stops, sniffs the air. PRINCE Magic always leaves a scent. Like fear. Ella bites her lip bloody to stay silent. The slipper shard in her fist gleams. She stabs it into her own thigh, smearing fresh blood over older stains—masking her trail. The Prince smiles, turns away. PRINCE Run, little story. I'll still find you at the end.
