A reclusive heiress awakens an ornate ancestral mirror that devours memories to resurrect her long-dead gothic lover.
Synopsis
Isolde Voss inherits Blackthorn Hall, a sprawling Victorian mansion where every gilded surface hides a ravenous secret. When she polishes an ancient mirror, reflections begin rewriting her past, pulling her into a lush nightmare of corseted ghosts and blood-soaked ballrooms. As her identity frays, Isolde must choose between erasing herself to keep her lover or shattering the glass forever. The estate itself awakens, walls breathing, portraits weeping, forcing a final confrontation at the heart of the mirror where love and annihilation entwine.
The story
Isolde arrives at Blackthorn Hall after her aunt’s suicide, discovers the mirror and its first seductive whisper.
