Synopsis
In a world where cats truly have nine lives, Mr. Whiskers is the ultimate planner, purchasing ironclad policies that pay out every time he 'dies.' When his beloved owner is murdered by a shadowy pet insurance cartel, Whiskers activates his nine lives like bulletproof vests, staging elaborate deaths and rebirths to infiltrate the organization from the inside. Teaming with a ragtag crew of overlooked strays and a disgraced human adjuster, he pulls off escalating heists that drain the cartel’s coffers while dodging increasingly creative assassination attempts. Each life lost brings him closer to the truth and forces him to confront what it means to truly live. The story
