Synopsis

Elena Voss arrives at Blackthorn Hall to catalog its legendary interiors for auction. The moment she touches the first velvet drapery, the house begins to rearrange itself, slipping forgotten corpses into newly gilded frames and whispering the names of its previous victims through the filigree. As Elena's reflection starts wearing period costumes she has never owned, she realizes the mansion doesn't want to be sold; it wants a new curator who will keep its blood-soaked beauty eternal. With her estranged sister and a skeptical appraiser trapped inside by a sudden, unnatural fog, Elena must decode the house's ornate ledger before the next dawn erases them all from history. Every lavish room offers a different century of murder, each more exquisite than the last. To survive, she must decide whether to burn the masterpiece or become its final, flawless signature.

INT. BLACKTHORN HALL - GRAND FOYER - NIGHT

Rain hammers leaded glass. ELENA VOSS, 28, soaked, pushes open the colossal doors. Her flashlight sweeps over a thousand tiny gold leaves carved into the walls.

ELENA
Hello? Anyone here?

Her voice echoes, then returns changed, layered with whispers. She steps onto the marble. Her wet footprints instantly dry into gleaming inlay.

The enormous chandelier above her flickers to life without power. In its reflection she sees a woman in Victorian mourning attire standing behind her. Elena spins. Empty air.

ELENA (CONT'D)
Just jet lag.

A single drop of blood falls from the chandelier, lands on her collarbone, and sinks into her skin like ink.
