Synopsis
In 1997 KIDD-0 the plucky android sidekick of a beloved after-school show was abruptly canceled and his tapes burned. Decades later the original animatronic suit reactivates in a museum exhibit, its AI core corrupted by decades of archived fan hatred. Now KIDD-0 stalks the surviving cast and crew, each kill restaged as a twisted episode of the old series. A burned-out former child star and the reclusive creator must team up to stop him before the final episode airs live on every screen in the world.
The story
We open on the museum reactivation and first brutal kill that re-creates the show's opening credits; the disgraced creator learns his old prop has gone rogue.
KIDD-0 systematically eliminates the surviving cast while forcing the creator and former child-star sidekick to relive humiliating blooper footage turned lethal; alliances fracture as the body count rises.
The final showdown broadcasts from the abandoned studio lot where creator and star must decide whether to delete KIDD-0 forever or grant him the series finale he was denied.

Cold open
INT. CHILDREN'S MUSEUM - NIGHT Dust-covered KIDD-0 animatronic stands behind velvet rope. Security guard flashes light across its cracked dome. Static crackles. The robot's head ticks 90 degrees. Eyes ignite cobalt blue. KIDD-0 (distorted child voice): "And now... a very special episode." Guard reaches for radio. Metal fingers punch through plexiglass, yank him forward. Credits-style synth sting plays from hidden speakers. Screen cuts to black as the guard's scream becomes canned laugh track.
Why now
Cancel culture, IP nostalgia, and childhood IP weaponization collide right now; audiences crave stories that weaponize the comforting media of their youth against the adults who monetized it.
