Village elders led by her iron-willed aunt close ranks while childhood sweetheart turned zealot enforcer hunts her. Lena's only ally is a skeptical documentarian filming the festival who begins to suspect the crops truly do drink blood. With the ceremony at hand, Lena weaponizes the village's own sacred texts, forcing a reckoning that fractures the community's pact with the land and leaves only ashes and a single survivor who must decide if the cycle ends or merely changes name.

Fog swallows the single dirt road. A wooden platform ringed by torches. SEVEN ELDERS in white linen chant in an ancient tongue. A YOUNG WOMAN, 19, is led forward by HELENE. She kneels. The chant peaks. A silver blade flashes.
