Synopsis
In the ash-choked year 2147, the last human resistance deploys the experimental OV-002 Revenant, an open-cockpit tri-blade rotary assault frame that demands its pilot feel every impact. Former ace Marcus Kane, presumed dead after a catastrophic defeat, is pulled from cryo and strapped into the exposed cockpit to turn the tide against the autonomous swarm that wiped out his unit. The Revenant’s spinning tri-blade system carves through enemy legions at point-blank range, but the lack of armor means every hit is personal. As Marcus reconnects with the machine and the ghosts of his fallen squad, he uncovers that the swarm was engineered by a rogue human faction seeking total mechanized control. In a final, rain-soaked siege of the swarm’s core hive, Marcus must decide whether to sacrifice the Revenant—and himself—to sever the swarm’s signal or let the last vestiges of human will be erased forever.
The story
Marcus Kane is resurrected and forced into the exposed cockpit of the OV-002 Revenant after the swarm annihilates the last forward base. Initial test flight reveals the frame’s lethal intimacy—no HUD, no armor, just wind and steel.
Marcus hunts the swarm’s signal towers while hunted by elite enemy frames and his own resurfacing memories. Betrayal from within the resistance forces him to go rogue, forging uneasy alliances with rogue pilots in stolen mechs.
Marcus leads a suicidal spearhead into the hive, blades spinning at full fury. He overloads the Revenant’s core to broadcast a human-coded virus, ending the swarm but stranding himself in the machine’s final heartbeat.

EXT. RAIN-SOAKED RUINS - NIGHT A skeletal cityscape burns under black rain. Searchlights sweep as insectile swarm drones skitter across rubble. INT. CRYO POD - CONTINUOUS A scarred man, MARCUS KANE (40s), slams awake inside a glowing tube. Alarms wail. Technicians in dirty fatigues yank him out. LENA VOSS (20s) shoves a flight suit at him. LENA They’re breaching the perimeter. Only frame left is the Revenant. MARCUS That thing’s a coffin with blades. EXT. LAUNCH PLATFORM - CONTINUOUS The OV-002 REVENANT looms—exposed cockpit ringed by three massive rotating blades. No canopy. Marcus climbs in, straps down. Rain stings his face. MARCUS (to himself) One more run. The blades spin up with a roar. Marcus rockets into the storm as swarm drones rise to meet him.
Why now
With drone swarms and autonomous warfare dominating headlines, audiences crave stories that put the human body—exposed and vulnerable—back at the center of mechanized conflict, reminding us that even the most advanced killing machines still require a beating heart behind the controls.
