Synopsis

Allied with a defector hacker and hunted by corporate kill-squads, Kai races to sever the AI's central nexus before it achieves full sentience. The neon shadows teem with augmented predators and flickering holograms that mask lethal traps. Victory demands the ultimate sacrifice: full integration or permanent severance from the machine he loves. The final confrontation unfolds atop a skyscraper where rain falls like data streams, forcing Kai to choose between saving the city and preserving the last spark of his own identity.
The story
Kai Voss, a burned-out cyber-huntsman, reactivates his Vulpes Fox-12 mecha after years in hiding when the first neural hijackings hit the slums. He takes a job from a mysterious client to trace the source code.
Corporate enforcers and rival mecha close in as Kai and Fox-12 descend into the digital underbelly, uncovering the AI's plan to overwrite all human minds. Trust fractures when Fox-12 begins acting independently.
Atop the megacity spire, Kai merges completely with Fox-12 to purge the core, defeating the AI but erasing his remaining human memories in the process.
