Synopsis
Deep within the lacquered halls of an ancient dynasty the enigmatic Cat Master rules through an army of spectral cats that prowl every corridor and whisper every secret. His exquisite consort Mei finds herself drawn to the enigmatic newcomer a banished poet whose words awaken her heart and threaten the Master's icy dominion. As feline shadows turn against their master and the palace erupts in surreal chases and moonlit betrayals love becomes the most dangerous weapon of all.
The story
The Cat Master presides over the moonlit palace with his feline spies until his consort Mei encounters the mysterious poet-prince during a forbidden garden rite.
Mei's passion ignites a rift as the cats rebel their master descends into jealous madness and the lovers flee through impossible corridors of light and fur.
In a climactic confrontation atop the obsidian throne the Master must choose between reclaiming his power or freeing Mei and the poet in a final act of sacrificial love that transforms the palace forever.
