Synopsis
In the smog-choked metropolis of Gearhaven, the Carnival of Gears rolls into town every decade, its brass tents and clockwork freaks hiding a dark engine that feeds on souls. Young tinkerer Lila Voss sneaks aboard seeking her missing brother and discovers the performers are living automatons bound by the ringmaster's massive central cog. As alliances form amid midnight rehearsals and steam-powered chases, Lila learns the carnival's next stop will consume the entire city. With oil-slicked betrayals and gear-grinding spectacles, the troupe ignites a revolution inside the big top, racing against the final chime that will lock everyone into eternal servitude.
The story
Lila infiltrates the carnival chasing her brother and bonds with the clockwork clown and iron juggler while uncovering the ringmaster's soul-harvesting plan.
Captured and forced into the show, Lila rallies the performers for sabotage amid deadly acts, but a betrayal exposes her plot and threatens to dismantle the entire crew.
In the explosive finale, Lila rewinds the central cog, frees the automatons, and topples the ringmaster, escaping as the carnival collapses into a new dawn of free gears and open skies.

LILA VOSS, 19, grease-stained coat and wild eyes, slips through the flaps. RINGMASTER MALVOLIO (O.S.) Ladies and gents, behold the gears that turn the world! SPARKS THE CLOWN cartwheels into center ring, his painted face cracking with steam. He juggles flaming gears that whistle like screams. SPARKS Catch 'em if you dare, but they bite back! Lila freezes as her locket glows toward the cog. RIVET, the hulking juggler, locks eyes with her from the shadows. The crowd cheers as the cog grinds louder.
