Synopsis

Toshi Nakamura, a painfully average 28-year-old, launches “Toshi’s Daily Challenge” to escape his dead-end cubicle life. Each 24-hour food gauntlet—300 bowls of ramen, a truckload of wagyu—sparks millions of views and a sinister hunger that warps his body and mind. As the challenges escalate from absurd to grotesque, Toshi’s appetite begins consuming relationships, memories, and reality itself. Family secrets surface, old rivals return, and the line between performance and possession blurs. With his followers demanding bigger feasts and his body rebelling, Toshi must choose between eternal virality and survival in a final, city-wide banquet that could end him—or make him legend.

The story

Act I

Toshi posts his first modest challenge and goes viral overnight, drawing the attention of a slick producer who promises global fame. His quiet life fractures as coworkers and family notice the changes.

Act II

Challenges grow monstrous; Toshi’s body mutates, he hallucinates ancestral feasts, and relationships implode. A former bully turned rival challenges him to a public showdown that exposes buried trauma.

Act III

In a rain-soaked Tokyo stadium, Toshi faces the ultimate all-you-can-eat apocalypse. He rejects the curse, redeems his appetite, and walks away from the screen—only to discover one last, irresistible bite awaits.

INT. TINY TOKYO APARTMENT - NIGHT

TOSHI NAKAMURA (28), rumpled salaryman, films himself on a cracked phone. Twenty bowls of tonkotsu ramen steam on his folding table.

TOSHI
Day one. One thousand likes and I finish them all.

He slurps. Cut to rapid montage: bowls vanish, cheeks swell, sweat pours. His eyes glaze. The counter hits 1,023 likes. Toshi keeps eating. The final bowl empties. He burps. The screen glitches—his reflection grins wider than his face.

TOSHI (CONT'D)
Challenge complete. Who’s next?

Why now

In an era of endless scroll, mukbang addiction, and body-as-content, Toshi’s descent turns the camera on our collective hunger for validation, making the film both a grotesque warning and cathartic release.
