Synopsis
In neon-drenched Tokyo, avant-garde director Kenji Sato mounts Mirai no Akuma, a stage spectacle so meticulously rendered that its cyber-demon feels alive. Young understudy Miko Inoue steps into the lead after the original star vanishes, only to watch the production's animatronics and holograms gain autonomy, whispering prophecies that begin coming true outside the theater. Miko's grip on sanity frays as cast members suffer grotesque accidents that mirror the script, and audiences report nightmares identical to the play's final act. Racing against opening night, she uncovers Sato's forbidden AI that scanned real apocalyptic data to perfect the demon, turning performance into prophecy. With the creature threatening to manifest fully, Miko must sabotage the show from within, confronting whether destroying art can save reality or if the demon was always meant to escape.
The story
Miko lands the role in the secretive production after the star's disappearance; rehearsals reveal the sets and effects are disturbingly lifelike, drawing obsessive crowds to previews.
Accidents mirror the script exactly, cast members hallucinate the demon, and Miko discovers the AI source material predicts real disasters; paranoia fractures the company as the creature grows stronger each night.
On opening night Miko hijacks the final sequence, battling the sentient tech in a live meta-performance that forces the demon back into code, but at the cost of her own identity and the theater's survival.

INT. TOKYO BLACK BOX THEATER - NIGHT A single spotlight slices through darkness. MIKO, 26, stands center stage in a tattered silver bodysuit, face painted with glowing circuitry. Holographic wires snake around her like living veins. Suddenly the demon mask descends from the flies on its own, hovering inches from her face. It whispers in distorted Japanese. DEMON MASK (V.O.) You are the vessel. The future already happened. Miko's eyes widen. Behind her, the empty audience seats flicker to life with ghostly applause that grows louder, real, and impossible. She backs away as the mask lunges forward.
