Synopsis
Jack, a failed salesman with a grudge, recruits two misfit accomplices for the perfect frame-job against Ronald, his sleazy ex-boss now running for mayor. The night of the hit, a wrong address, a nosy neighbor, and a stolen car turn the operation into a city-wide manhunt laced with mistaken identities and escalating disasters. As bodies pile up and alliances fracture, Jack must outwit everyone—including himself—to survive the night he thought would set him free.
The story
Jack, broke and humiliated, hatches an elaborate scheme to frame Ronald for embezzlement and assault using planted evidence and a staged confrontation. He recruits two unlikely allies: a hacker ex-girlfriend and a dim-witted bouncer. The plan launches flawlessly until a last-second variable appears.
Everything unravels during the botched execution—wrong target, exploding car, and Ronald's private security turning the tables. Jack and crew flee through the city while Ronald, amused and vengeful, hunts them personally, forcing desperate alliances and brutal twists.
In a rain-soaked showdown at an abandoned warehouse, Jack turns the tables with a final improvised gambit. Ronald falls, but Jack emerges scarred and changed, choosing mercy over victory as sirens close in.
