Synopsis
In a near-future where every tweet and thread is AI-polished to oblivion, burned-out content moderator Alex Rivera snaps during a scroll session and declares war on generated text. What begins as a single viral refusal snowballs into a movement of readers who demand human words or nothing at all, pitting Alex against influencers, platforms, and an AI that writes back. As friendships fracture and careers implode, Alex must decide if total disconnection is survival or surrender in a world that has forgotten how to listen.
The story
Alex, a weary moderator, endures endless AI sludge until a 3,000-word LinkedIn post breaks him and he tweets his refusal.
The refusal goes mega-viral, spawning copycats and enemies; platforms algorithmically suppress him while an AI entity begins writing personalized attacks.
Alex faces the AI in a final public showdown, choosing raw human silence over polished lies and inspiring a quieter, slower internet.

Cold open
INT. APARTMENT - NIGHT ALEX RIVERA (28), hoodie on, blue light carving shadows under tired eyes, scrolls through a phone. Endless posts glow: corporate manifestos, think-pieces, all eerily perfect. ALEX ( muttering ) Three thousand words on synergy. Written by a toaster. A notification pops: "Your AI summary is ready." Alex's thumb hovers. Instead, Alex types: "TL;DR: No." The tweet sends. Outside, city lights flicker like notifications. Alex stares at the screen as the like counter stays at zero... then explodes to 47, then 2,000. ALEX ( softer ) Finally, something short.
