Synopsis

In the shadowed underbelly of a rain-soaked metropolis, Marcus Vale processes death for a living—scrubbing crime scenes until the blood vanishes. When his wife is brutally slain in their home, Marcus discovers he now "processes" more than stains: fragments of victims' final moments flood his mind in visceral flashes. The visions point to a serial predator who selects targets based on unresolved traumas, forcing Marcus into a spiraling investigation that blurs his reality with the dead. As the killer closes in, Marcus must decode his wife's dying memories while confronting his own buried guilt. Allies become suspects, and every cleaned scene pulls him deeper into a web where processing the past means surviving the present. The chase culminates in a chilling confrontation that forces Marcus to decide whose memories—and whose life—he will ultimately claim.

INT. SUBURBAN BEDROOM - NIGHT

Rain hammers the windows. MARCUS VALE (40s, gaunt, precise) kneels in blood, methodically blotting crimson from beige carpet with white towels. The body of a woman lies face-down on the bed.

Suddenly his hands freeze. His eyes glaze. We hear a woman's terrified BREATHING, then a low male WHISPER: "You never processed what you did to me."

Marcus gasps, yanking back to reality. He stares at his shaking red palms.

MARCUS
(whisper)
Elena...

He scrubs faster, harder, until the towels shred.
