Synopsis
Kai Riptide a fearless Maui local catches a once-in-a-lifetime swell that launches him from beach bum to global icon and tech mogul when he patents a wave-powered generator inspired by his rides. Overnight the ocean that gave him everything starts taking it back as sponsors rivals and family pull him into a vortex of betrayals and moral wipeouts. As his empire crests Kai must decide whether to sell out his invention or risk it all on one final impossible wave that could either save his soul or bury him at sea. With his childhood crew fractured and a relentless sports-media storm closing in the ultimate question is whether any surfer can truly own the ocean or only borrow its power before it claims you.

Kai drops in, carves the face, spray exploding in slow motion. At the crest his GoPro captures the impossible ride as the wave collapses behind him in thunder. INT. BEACH SHACK - MOMENTS LATER Kai bursts in, dripping, phone blowing up. His screen shows the clip already at 2 million views. KAI (smiling) Wave of success, baby. Here we come.
