Synopsis
Former ace pilot Marcus Kane crashes in a classified op, loses his wings, and spirals into a whiskey-soaked existence fixing crop dusters in the desert. When 17-year-old street racer and drone savant Lena Reyes tracks him down with proof she’s his daughter and begs him to train her for a desperate border rescue flight, Marcus sees his last shot at salvaging a life he destroyed. Their high-stakes training pulls in old squadron ghosts, triggers buried trauma, and forces both to decide what they’re willing to break to finally fly free.
The story
