Synopsis
In the neon-drenched megacity of Aether, citizens awaken each morning with gray void hearts pulsing in their chests, their feelings siphoned by the omnipresent OmniCorp to fuel an emotionless utopia. When brilliant coder Lena discovers her own heart is rapidly voiding, she hacks into the forbidden Archive and revives Kai, a fragmented soldier whose memories of their past love are the only key to reversing the process. Together they descend through layers of digital hellscapes and flesh-and-blood black markets, pursued by void-hunters who feed on stolen feelings. As fragments of their shared history return in searing flashes, Lena and Kai confront the horrifying truth that their love was engineered as the ultimate test subject. Betrayed by the very system that created them, they must decide whether to sacrifice their reclaimed hearts to save humanity or let the void consume everything in a final act of defiant passion. The film builds to a shattering climax where physical and digital realities collide, forcing audiences to question how much of their own hearts they have already surrendered to screens and algorithms.
The story
Lena notices her heart graying and breaks protocol to enter the Archive, awakening Kai who has no memory of her. They flee OmniCorp enforcers through rain-slicked streets while fragments of lost love surface in violent glitches.
The pair infiltrates the Core facility, confronting Kai's former squad and Lena's corporate handler who reveals their romance was a controlled experiment. As more hearts void around them, they harvest stolen emotions to stay alive, their bond deepening even as reality fractures.
In the heart of the Archive they choose to overload the system with their reclaimed love, causing a city-wide emotional cascade. Lena and Kai vanish into the resulting white void, leaving behind a single black heart that pulses once, suggesting love's survival beyond erasure.

The heart SHATTERS into digital ash. She runs. Neon blurs. The hunters give chase through corridors that glitch between reality and code. EXT. RAIN-SLICKED LEDGE - CONTINUOUS Lena leaps. Mid-air she sees her reflection: eyes empty. She lands on a drone platform and vanishes into the storm.
